Shoe company takes a big step

Charleston Shoe Company has leased a 1,200 3/f store at 1393 Avenue of the Americas at West 57th Street.
Joseph Aquino, president of JAACRES, and Lynn A. San Andres of The Mason Alexander Group represented the tenant.

Michael Azarian and Rob Kuppersmith from Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, The Georgetown Company.

Charleston Shoe Company is a national shoe retailer with 20 locations across the US. Known for their high fashion, easy-to-wear comfort shoes, the company’s shoes are custom designed and manufactured.
According to Aquino, the location ic condusive to the company’s primary cleints in the travel and tourism sector.

“The new store is within walking distance of The Plaza, St. Regis, The Peninsula, The Sheraton and The Hilton Hotels, making this location highly desirable for them.” said Aquino.

San Andres said, “We showed them over 60 locations before they fell in love with this space, which we leased for them before the for-rent sign was even installed in the window.”
