Seward & Kissel LLP announced today that Camille Paulus has joined the firm as counsel in the Real Estate Group in New York.

Paulus advises governmental and economic development agencies, financial institutions, investment banks, real estate investment trusts, private investors, and major corporations on a wide range of real estate transactions.

“We are delighted to welcome Camille to our team. Camille’s arrival will further strengthen our client relationships as we advise on acquisitions, joint ventures, and other matters,” said Seward & Kissel partner Rhona Kisch, head of the firm’s Real Estate Group.

She regularly works across office, commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Paulus has exceptional knowledge of both traditional and construction financings and real estate matters involving complex redevelopment projects.

“Seward & Kissel’s Real Estate Group is known for its talented team and extraordinary range of industry expertise,” noted Paulus. “I am excited to advise our clients on sophisticated real estate transactions while helping them advance their broader business objectives.”

Paulus received her Master of Laws from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Before moving to New York in 2016, she practiced real estate law in Montreal for several years and completed a secondment with the real estate division of the legal department of a major Canadian pension fund. She joins Seward & Kissel from the real estate group of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
