‘Selfie’ store signs Nolita lease

A new Nolita fashion store catering to the “selfie” generation will open in the fall.
Gary Schwartzman and George Graf with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank Retail brokered the lease  for a 1,000 s/f  coop & spree store at 202 Elizabeth Street that will open in August.
The shop will cater to the “young, stylish, metropolitan woman,”  shopping for coveted apparel and accessory designers from around the world.

The kicker is that the brick and mortar store’s new technologies, including digital tablets that help customers build and accessorize outfits, a photo booth to snap pictures and share style inspiration with friends and a menu of personal styling services such as home closet consultations, personalized packing services and a stylist in residence.

“Our customer wants an interactive and entertaining retail experience that also offers access to exclusive designer brands and luxury services,” said coop & spree founder Brooke S. Richman. “We are ecstatic to open our first store in Nolita, as the area epitomizes our commitment to discovering unknown designers with a downtown chic edge.”
