The Savitt Partners team of Marc Schoen, Brian Neugeboren, and Michael Schoen worked with the brand’s partners, including majority holder Topson Downs of California Inc., to locate a new space to serve as the global headquarters of the brand. The firm secured a 10-year, 15,000 s/f  lease at 58 West 40th Street in Manhattan. The Rachel Roy brand will relocate from its previous space at 1411 Broadway.

“Topson Downs had a very clear idea of the space they wanted to accommodate Rachel Roy’s fashions,” said Marc Schoen.  Overlooking Bryant Park with floor to ceiling windows, “58 West 40th Street offered the right layout with a unique showroom plus office space on the Mezzanine and 2nd floor. It was the perfect solution to what they were looking for.”

Denise Johnston, president of Rachel Roy, said, “Establishing the global headquarters of the Rachel Roy brand in the heart of the fashion district was important to us. This space has an inspiring view of the park and serves as the flagship office where our design, marketing, sales, and production leadership will be based to foster growth of the brand.”

Rachel Roy, founder and partner, said, “I take great inspiration from the spaces I live and work in. Creating a new environment that embodies the essence of the brand and influences the creativity of the team is paramount.”

58 West 4oth Street is 16 stories with 120,000 rentable square feet and located in the heart of the Fashion District. John Belt and Laura Belt represented the ownership in this transaction
