Rudin welcomes digital home builders to 41 Madison

Handler Real Estate Organization arranged a 4,761 s/f office lease on behalf of digital home building firm, Welcome Homes, at 41 Madison Avenue.

Under the new transaction, Welcome Homes occupies a portion of the 33rd floor of Rudin Management Co.’s office property overlooking Madison Square Park.

This new lease represents the first Manhattan office for Miami-based Welcome Homes, an online service enabling home-buyers to custom design and build a new single-family home.

“Welcome Homes was looking for high-end space in a prime location to establish a Manhattan presence,” said Handler Executive Vice President Darell Handler, who along with Kyle Galin, represented the tenant in the transaction. “They are delighted with the space and to be working with Rudin Management, one of the city’s best landlords.”

Designed by Emery Roth & Sons and opened in 1974, 41 Madison is a modern glass-and-steel building and home to the New York Merchandise Mart, the city’s premier tabletop destination and a global center for the tabletop industry, along with other top firms in finance, communications, and talent.

Robert Steinman, of Rudin Management, represented ownership in the new transaction.
