Rose Associates Names Ray Cardinale Director of Technical Services and Capital Projects

Rose Associates, Inc., the New York-based multifamily real estate developer and manager, announced today that Raymond Cardinale has been promoted to Director, Technical Services and Capital Projects. Cardinale has been with Rose since 2010 and played a lead role in developing the firm’s technical services division over the past decade.
“We are very fortunate to have Ray on our team and I am thrilled that he’s advancing to the Director level,” said Mitchell S. Gelberg, senior managing director of multifamily management at Rose. “Not only does he have an exceptional ability to manage complex capital projects, he is the first person our on-site managers call when there’s a vexing issue at a building. Ray responds to all variety of concerns quickly and is a true problem solver.”

Cardinale will oversee a six-person team and continue to be responsible for delivering capital projects on time and on budget. Cardinale’s division provides construction management services to Rose-owned and Rose-managed buildings, including the installation of co-generation facilities and other energy efficiency projects, building envelope repairs, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing upgrades. In addition, the division oversees the renovation of apartments, lobbies, hallways and amenity spaces.

Cardinale began his career working in varied trades including Local Union #3 (electrical) and Local Union #94 (operating engineers). He joined the management team of PCVST in 2001 and was subsequently promoted to assistant director of capital projects. In that capacity he oversaw a four-year, site-wide infrastructure upgrade project.
