
Jack Resnick & Sons has signed a long-term renewal with Lenox Hill Hospital/North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, Inc. for three full floors comprising 70,434 s/ft of space at its signature office tower at 110 East 59th Street.
North Shore-LIJ Health System, which acquired Lenox Hill Hospital in 2010, will continue to occupy the entire 8th, 9th and 10th floors in the 37-story blockthrough Class A office building between Park and Lexington Avenues.
“As North Shore-LIJ expands its New York City presence, we are pleased that 110 East 59th Street will remain a key Manhattan location for this highly respected healthcare organization,” stated Jonathan D. Resnick, President of Jack Resnick & Sons.
Dennis P. Brady, Executive Managing Director of Jack Resnick & Sons, represented the building owner in the 15 year lease renewal while Brian Waterman and Brent Ozarowski of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the tenant.
Other major tenants in the building, where asking rents are in the mid $70 range, include Cantor Fitzgerald, Estee Lauder, IMAX Corporation, Four Season Hotel & RP Management.
North Shore-LIJ-owned facilities house about 5,000 beds, employ more than 9,500 nurses and have affiliations with more than 7,500 physicians. Its workforce of about 38,000 is the largest on Long Island and the ninth-largest in New York City.
