The Rudin Family, together with their partner, investment advisor and asset manager Allianz Real Estate of America, has signed a 10-year lease renewal for nonprofit business group The Partnership for New York City at One Battery Park Plaza
The lease encompasses 26,745 s/f across the entire fifth floor of the tower, a 35-story, 870,000 s/f office property in Lower Manhattan.
The organization, which represents the city’s business leadership and its largest private sector employers, has been housed in the space since 1999. Its new lease now extends until 2030.
“The Partnership For New York City is an organization that is widely known for its leadership in the business community for helping to create jobs and support emerging industries,” said Michael Rudin, Senior Vice President at Rudin Management Company, the operating arm of Rudin Family holdings.
“They have been a mainstay at One Battery Park Plaza over the last 20 years, and their commitment reflects their confidence in the Lower Manhattan market and its future.”
The Partnership For New York City was represented in the transaction by Todd Stracci and Hal Stein of Newmark Knight Frank.
Building ownership was represented by Kevin Daly, Vice President of Leasing at Rudin Management Company.
