Luxury seniors rental now taking reservations
Leasing reservations are now being taken at the new luxury rental for New York seniors, Inspīr Carnegie Hill.
Pricing will start at $13,000 a month based on unit size and care needs, according to a spokeswoman.
Located at 1802 Second Avenue, Inspīr Carnegie Hill. is the first of a new concept in senior living from Maplewood Senior Living and Omega Healthcare Investors.
The new brand blends luxury residences, five star hospitality, and world-class healthcare for seniors in urban markets.
One of the first senior living communities in over a decade to be constructed from the ground up in Manhattan, Inspīr Carnegie Hill (top) offers residents “a lifestyle that meets and exceeds everything they’ve envisioned for their lives.”
Within the luxury property designed by Handel Architects, residents can utilize professional care options ranging from assisted living to memory care.

● EXTELL DEVELOPMENT
Extell welcomes 55+ crowd

Extell Development Company is now welcoming residents at Barnegat 67, its new ground-up New Jersey development with 76 luxury rental apartments for residents aged 55+.
Barnegat 67 also features dining and shopping, along with 20,000 s/f of programmed indoor-outdoor rooftop amenities, indoor club and lounge is outfitted with a bar, billiard tables, and card tables.
Residents can also enjoy outdoor rooftop cabanas with grilling stations as well as an outdoor dog run, screening area, and a variety of rooftop games including shuffleboard and bocce.
Located off the Garden State Parkway’s Exit 67, the four-story complex has units ranging from 834 to 1,465 s/f, with the higher floors providing views of the New Jersey Pinelands.
Retail tenants will include Planet Fitness and BSR Physical Therapy, Italian pizzeria MaMa Rosa, Jersey Mikes, Pan Asia and Dunkin Donuts.
The apartments are being listed for rent by Elite Team Realty in Barnegat. Rents start at $1,360 a month.

Wellness boutique opens in Brooklyn Heights

Jonathan Rose Companies, Bedrock Real Estate Partners, JD Capital USA and Nuveen Real Estate have launched leasing at The Pierrepont.
The new “wellness-oriented” boutique in Brooklyn Heights has 90 one, two and three bedroom apartments.
In keeping with the developer’s mission to create green communities that are healthier for both residents and their neighborhoods, the project features an environmentally-sustainable design and a wellness-driven amenities.
Jonathan F.P Rose, president of Jonathan Rose Companies, explained, “With a green design that gives residents and neighbors peace of mind regarding their environmental footprint, well-rounded amenities to support physical and mental wellbeing, and expansive floorplans to increase comfort and ease, The Pierrepont invites residents to enjoy the benefits of Brooklyn Heights in a full-service building.”
Located at 146 Pierrepont Street between Clinton and Court, the building is comprised of two 20-story towers connected by a two-story common area centered around a garden and children’s play area.
Many apartment homes offer views of Manhattan, the East River and downtown Brooklyn. The building also features 6,000 square feet of retail space.
Designed by Marvel Architects, the building is a modern interpretation of the historic Brooklyn Heights neighborhood.
The building will both meet and exceed the standards of Enterprise Green Communities.
Amenities include a meditation room, library, and private Zen garden.
A curated art collection of rising American female artists is featured throughout the building.
Leasing will be handled exclusively by The Bloomstone Group. Move-ins are expected to begin Spring 2019.

Rheingold enjoys leasing streak

The Rheingold has reached 60 percent leased just three months after opening.
Located at 10 Montieth Street on the site of the former Rheingold Brewery, the property is offering “hotel-style living” with more than 40 amenities, professional workspaces, 70,000 s/f of outdoor space, art and on-site concierge services.
“Our goal was to create something very special at The Rheingold—to meet the needs of today’s renters by providing inspiring outdoor spaces and amenities to work and play in. We wanted to create a strong community by creating opportunities for residents to interact with each other,” said David Korn of Fiddler Realty, which handles leasing.
“We’re pleased to see the building receive such a positive response from residents and the community alike as we reach this important leasing milestone.”
Designed by ODA with interiors by Durukan Design, the eight-story rental has 500 studio, one- and two-bedrooms. The remaining one- and two-bedroom residences are available for immediate occupancy with net rents starting at $2,500 and $3,750, respectively.
All of the studio apartment have been leased. 100 of the building’s residences reserved as part of the city’s Affordable Housing Initiative, have also been leased.

● ALGIN MANAGEMENT
Aro construction complete

Construction is complete on ARO, a new, 62-story high-rise by Algin Management in Hell’s Kitchen.
Designed by CetraRuddy Architecture with DeSimone Consulting Engineers, the structure’s shifting floor plates and outdoor balconies were incorporated to achieve an undulating façade.
Located at 242 West 53rd Street, the 540,000 s/f tower has 426 rental units, 40,000 s/f of amenities, ground-floor retail, and below-grade parking.
The 720 ft. tall tower is just 75 feet wide. To adequately support the slim building, the structural system is comprised of steel columns at the foundation level, reinforced concrete shear walls with flat plate concrete floor slabs, and reinforced concrete columns.
Beyond aesthetic, unit balconies also incorporate advanced Thermal Break technology to enhance the building’s energy performance. Located within the balconies, the Thermal Breaks minimize heat transfer from interior spaces to the exterior and vise-versa.
Rents start at $3,325 and leasing is being handled by Triumph Property Group.
