NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co. announced that Robert Dinner, Executive Vice President, serving as exclusive leasing agent for Metroplex Corporate Center in Edison, NJ, recently completed over 33,000 square feet of office leases at the office complex. Dinner represented the tenants and the landlord, Metroplex Associates, in these transactions. These transactions included the following:
- a 14,500-square-foot lease extension for Rutgers, The State University Behavioral Health Care Center;
- a 9,100-square-foot lease for DPK Consulting, LLC, a land surveying company;
- a 10,200-square foot renewal for Naik Group, an engineering firm who designs State, Federal, and Public Works Transportation Systems
“I am pleased to have completed these leases at Metroplex Corporate Center,” stated Rob Dinner. “Rutgers and Naik are long-time tenants at the property and wished to remain in their spaces. DPK was previously located in multiple office spaces within a building in Piscataway, and this new premises met the company’s business goals by allowing all of its employees to be accommodated in one location,” he added.
Rutgers took advantage of signing a multi-year lease extension at the property enabling them to stay in the building which is centrally located to the University.
DPK benefitted from leasing space that had been available for sublease. As a result, they signed a long-term direct lease with the landlord that was “plug and play” and included furniture, workstations, and IT wiring.
Naik used this opportunity to reconfigure its space while remaining in occupancy and continuing to meet its long-term real estate needs while servicing its clients’ projects.

Metroplex Corporate Center is a 264,000-sqaure-foot, three-building office park. Amenities within the buildings include food service, on-site property management, security service, new elevators, and a new parking lot. The corporate center is located directly across from the NJ Transit Edison station and is in close proximity to Routes 1 and 27, as well as the Garden State Parkway and NJ Turnpike. The Metroplex Complex is currently 95% leased.
