Mill Creek Residential adds Jersey City office

Mill Creek Residential announced the opening of a new office for their NY/NJ operations in Jersey City, NJ.
The office is located at 1 Evertrust Plaza in the downtown business district.

The opening follows Mill Creek’s sustained growth throughout Northern New Jersey, Westchester County and on Long Island.

Several communities have been delivered to the market in recent years, including Modera Lofts, the adaptive reuse of a former warehouse in Jersey City’s Powerhouse Arts District, Modera 44 and 55, both in downtown Morristown; Modera Parsippany, Modera Hudson Riverfront in downtown Yonkers and two communities in Mineola on Long Island.

“The addition of an office in Jersey City is a critical centralized location for Mill Creek, allowing us to better manage our existing and future portfolio” said Russell Tepper, senior managing director at Mill Creek Residential.

“Jersey City is a particularly strategic location for us, providing closer access to New York City, Long Island, and Westchester County, while still maintaining proximity to our communities and development sites on the Gold Coast and in suburban, northern New Jersey.”

While still maintaining an office in Bedminster, NJ, the new Jersey City location will serve as a supplemental base of operations to manage the ever-expanding pipeline for Mill Creek in the region.

Added Tepper, “As the number of our communities continues to grow, and we expand into new municipalities throughout the region, it is important for us to grow our office footprint as well. With communities in Nassau and Westchester Counties, it made sense for us to identify office space further north and east, situating us closer to those properties and other potential development sites.”

He said the new Jersey City location will be key for the expanding development team, poised to attract a wide talent base spanning New York and New Jersey’s Gold Coast.
