Marcus & Millichap Arranges the Sale of a Two Property Self-Storage Portfolio

Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of Store Your Stuff, a two property 83,550-square-foot self-storage portfolio located in Clay and Baldwinsville, New York, according to Grant Fitzgerald, regional manager of the firm’s Columbus office.

Nathan Coe, Brett R. Hatcher, and Gabriel Coe, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Columbus office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, an individual/personal trust. “This was a tremendous process and a testament to how strong the self-storage sales market still is, even in smaller markets,” said Nathan Coe, the lead agent involved on the transaction. “This offering attracted interest from local, and regional buyers, as well as large national public and private buyers. We had several offers above list price and closed well above the list price” he continued. Nathan Coe, Brett R. Hatcher and Gabriel Coe also secured and represented the buyer, a limited liability company. John Horowitz, New York Broker of Record, assisted in closing this transaction.

Store Your Stuff Portfolio is located in Clay and Baldwinsville, New York. The facilities combine to feature 80 climate-controlled units and 668 non-climate-controlled units totaling 83,550 net rentable square feet. Both facilities are currently operating at 100 percent physical occupancy.
