Adams & Co. Real Estate announced that Kassatex, Inc., which designs and distributes luxury textiles and linens, has signed a 11,670 s/f 10-year lease at 330 Fifth Avenue.
The New York-based firm will relocate its headquarters from 295 Fifth Avenue to a full floor space on the 11th floor of the building.
Alan Bonett of Adams & Co. represented the landlord, Skyler 330 LLC, while Jarod Stern and Greg Albert of Savills represented the tenant in the transaction. Kassatex is expected to take occupancy of the space in the first quarter of 2020.
“The NoMad area continues to attract top fashion and textiles firms given the location allows them to showcase the latest trends set against the backdrop of a classic New York aesthetic,” said Bonett.
“330 Fifth Avenue offers this growing firm a coveted address in a centrally located neighborhood and a flexible, full tower floor space that allows for a customized showroom and provides an abundance of natural light.”
Founded in 1999, Kassatex makes and distributes luxury bed and bath collections including towels, throw blankets, decorative pillows, shower curtains and its children’s bath products brand, Kassa Kids. Kassatex also provides bed and bath products to hotel properties and department stores.
Constructed in 1926, 330 Fifth Avenue, which is managed by Shulsky Properties, is a 224,000 s/f 15-story office building.
