Luxury Italian leather atelier opens at 1082 Madison

Italian leather goods atelier Jennifer Tattanelli is opening a new store at 1082 Madison to showcase its fall line of luxury goods.


Faith Hope Consolo and Corey Shuster at Douglas Elliman located Jennifer Tattanelli at 1082 Madison Avenue between 81st and 82nd streets. The boutique is a two-level retail space totaling 2,000 s/f. The brand has previously  had three successful pop-up stores on the Avenue.

The new long-term lease was signed at an asking rent of $550,000 per annum.

Florence-based Tattanelli is know for producing fine leather women’s and men’s products. The third generation brand has ateliers in Florence, Manhasset and the Hamptons, with an outpost in London. According to Consolo, the company is expanding its global footprint and is putting down roots in New York City as a launchpad for a strategic US rollout .

“Jennifer Tattanelli has traveled the world, making the Italian mystique and craftsmanship accessible while maintaining quality, style and elegance,” said Faith Consolo. “Their decision to stay on the Avenue is apparent, continuing in the presence of other designers and world-renowned retailers on this prime shopping stretch.

The Faith Hope Consolo Team represents the brand in the US and represented both sides in this transaction.
