Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP renewed its lease at 114 West 47th Street, between Sixth and Seventh avenues.
The law firm renewed for 36,000 s/f, taking slightly more space in The Durst Organization’s property.
Axinn was represented by Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF)executives Gary Linder, Mark Weiss and Rob Eisenberg. Tom Bow and Rocco Romeo represented ownership in-house.
“Axinn is a strong tenant and the new lease provides options to accommodate future growth,” Linder said.
“Though we looked at several alternatives, the decision to stay is a reflection of ownership’s commitment to the tenant and improvements it has made to the building.”
114 West47th Street was built by Durst in 1989. This year, a $7 million lobby renovation program featured enhancements including a lobby rotunda and high-end finishes.
The building also includes recently installed green roofs.
