The Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association of the New York Metropolitan Area (IOREBA) hosted its 26th annual Developer’s Night event at the Marriott at Glenpointe Hotel in Teaneck, NJ.

A panel of experts educated the audience about the commercial real estate marketplace in New Jersey

“There are a lot more options in the marketplace than 18 months ago, even two years ago,” said David Simson, vice chairman, Newmark Night Frank.

Panelists agreed that creating culture and contemporary environments in today’s office buildings is becoming increasing popular.

Some of the trends in the marketplace are breaking down barriers and creating spaces for collaboration; developing fun and creative environments and designing new drop-off areas for the increasing number of employees using ride share services.

Densifying and creating an urban feel in suburban markets is also an up-and-coming trend.
