
Sales have launched at the Waldorf Astoria Towers, the 1931 landmark building that’s in the midst of a restoration by developer Dajia Insurance Group.
Architects Skidmore, Owings and Merrill are preserving the building’s Art Deco design during the renovation, which includes 50,000 s/f of amenities. The property will open 375 homes starting at $1.7 millon and 375 hotel rooms scheduled for move-ins in 2020. Entrances will be separate for residences and the hotel. Homes range from studios to four-bedrooms to penthouses.
Amenities include a 25-meter Starlight Pool overlooking Park Avenue illuminated by a restored skylight, the Winter Garden and the Starlight Lounge, connected to the StarlightTerrace are two of the four private bars to residents, and a fitness center with training studios and a cardio gallery as well as spas.
Other amenities include The Grand Salon entertainment space, a private dining room, wine tasting room, billiard’s room and game room, a library and lounge, children’s playroom, theater with performance stage and grand piano, private work spaces with boardrooms and meeting rooms as well as a co-working space.
