Higher Ground Education leases two NYC properties

JLL and Newmark Knight Frank represented Higher Ground Education in two new leases for more than 27,000 s/f in New York City.

Higher Ground Education, which provides Montessori education, will used the buildings for their first Polis World School campuses.The company signed a lease for 16,200 s/f at 12 East 79th Street just off Fifth Avenue and Central Park in the Upper East Side. This Mandarin immersion Montessori school, for children aged three years to fifth grade, is scheduled to open in September 2018.

The school also signed a lease for 10,976 s/f at 775 Columbus Avenue, for a second Mandarin immersion Montessori school to open in Winter 2019.

Nick Carey of JLL in Orange County, California and Jordan Gosin of Newmark Knight Frank in New York represented Higher Ground Education in the lease. JLL is currently looking for space for additional schools in major U.S. markets as well as Vienna, Budapest and China.
