The Kaufman Organization brokered a 10-year, 13,000 s/f lease at the Masonic Hall in Chelsea for HELP/PSI, a non-profit healthcare organization.
Yvonne Chang of the Kaufman Organization commented, “The space in the historic Masonic Hall was attractive to decision makers at the non-profit due to the building’s amenities, which include banquet rooms that the organization plans on utilizing for internal and community events.”
The entire eighth floor at 71 West 23rd Street will house HELP/PSI’s administrative offices and meeting rooms.
Chang represented HELP/PSI and Herb Goldberg of City Connections Realty represented the landlord, Trustees of the Masonic Hall and Asylum Fund.
Built in 1912, the historic Masonic Hall is a 243,200 s/f building on the corner of the Avenue of the Americas. The neoclassical structure still has space dedicated for Masonic purposes, which include a two-story Grand Lodge.
