Handler Real Estate Organization has an appetite for sushi. The firm has arranged a long-term retail transaction on behalf of the landlord at 213 West 28th Street, with AAichiban Sushi Japanese Restaurant leasing 2,200 s/f on the ground floor.
“AAichiban was already well-known in Chelsea and wanted to continue to serve their loyal clientele,” said Scott Galin, principal of Handler, who represented the landlord with colleague Darrel Handler. “The restaurant’s move allows it to remain prominent in the area as well as adopt a fresh look.”
Robert Frischman, of JDF Realty, also worked the deal. Marilynne Wu, of Oxford Realty Group, represented the tenant.
