Colliers International arranged two new Garment District leases at 469 Seventh Avenue, with Nanoosh taking the building’s ground floor retail space, and Severud Associates signing a long-term renewal for its full-floor office space on the 9th floor.
Mediterranean eatery Nanoosh leased 1,700 s/f on a long-term lease, with plans to open in the Spring of 2015. This newest location marks the fourth New York City location, and fifth overall.
Sturctural Engineering firm Severud will continue to occupy its 17,000 s/f space, taking the entire 9th floor.
Most recently Colliers also arranged a long-term renewal at 469 Seventh Avenue, with the Metropolitan Transit Authority continuing to lease the entire 11th and 14th floors, totaling 34,000 square feet.
With these new transactions only the building’s top floors now remain available for lease.
Eric Meyer, a Senior Managing Director with Colliers International Tri-State, along with Vice Chairman Marty Meyer arranged the lease on behalf of the building ownership. The building is owned by Eric and Marty Meyer, and Dan Shavolian, of Foremost Real Estate.
Kenji Ota, of Cushman and Wakefield, and Rob Bonocoro of CBRE both represented Nanoosh. Jim Wenk, of JLL, represented Severud in the renewal.
