Cushman & Wakefield announced it represented ownership of 100 Broadway in a long-term lease transaction to TD Ameritrade, Inc.
TD Ameritrade will occupy a total of 9,509 square feet on the ground floor and lower level in the historic 24-story office building, which is located at the southeast corner of Broadway and Pine Street. The transaction, along with Duane Reade’s lease of approximately 25,000 square feet in 2011, completes the lease-up of the approximately 35,000-square-foot space previously occupied by Borders Books.
Cushman & Wakefield, led by Gene Spiegelman and Michael O’Neill represented Madison Capital in the transaction. Annette Healey of CBRE represented TD Ameritrade, Inc.
“100 Broadway is a great corner space located in the heart of the Financial District and steps from Wall Street, which lends itself well to a prominent financial institution like TD Ameritrade, Inc,” said Mr. Spiegelman, a Cushman & Wakefield Executive Vice President.
100 Broadway features a distinctive space with more than 170 feet of frontage on Broadway & Pine Street. The office building is one block from Wall Street and near major subway lines.
