Flatiron’s 21W20 unveils penthouse prices

The pricing for two penthouse homes at 21W20 was announced recently. 21W20 is a new 15-story ultra-luxury private residential building in the heart of the Flatiron District.

Designed by celebrated interior architect David Mann of MR Architecture + Décor, the Penthouses epitomize true indoor/outdoor living with unmatched space, light, and privacy in the heart of the city. Penthouse Two, an enormous 4,663 SF full-floor home, and Penthouse Four, a dramatic glassed duplex with 1,218 SF of terrace crowns the building.

Penthouse Two, priced at $13.965M is a 4,663 SF full floor home with a 75 foot long terrace totaling 525 SF. Floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors offer expansive views. The four bedroom, four and one-half bath home features a spectacular grand living room with a custom bio-fuel fireplace with blackened steel/marble surround and a spacious dining area that opens directly onto the south-facing terrace. A large entertainment/media room is pre-wired to accommodate the most advanced home theater systems, and the home has an integrated AV and lighting system with iPad, iPhone or Android interface. The home is accessed via a direct elevator entrance with an additional privacy door.

The 1,000 SF private east wing master suite features an oversized walk-in closet with dressing room/wardrobe space, a built-in kitchenette, and direct bedroom access to the terrace. The three additional bedroom suites in the west wing each feature private en-suite baths and large walk-in closets.

Penthouse Two’s custom kitchen features a Miele appliance suite, elegant white oak cabinetry, sophisticated stainless steel countertops and backsplash, and a 10.5 foot long Olive Marone Marble island. The floors are 6″ solid rift white oak hardwood with a 54″ custom square patterned design. The dramatic glass-walled living room opens directly onto the spacious roof terrace. The outdoor space is perfect for open-air entertaining, offering dramatic views, a six person hot tub, a private outdoor shower, a full outdoor kitchen and a custom designed bio-fuel outdoor gas fireplace.

On the eleventh floor, this dramatic building unfolds to its full 100-ft width to reveal full floor Penthouse Homes perched atop a restored, landmarks-protected structure.

Phase I, which included nine floor-through residences, sold out November, 2014.   21W20 is pursuing LEED-certification and the new livability WELL-certification in addition to a 421-A tax abatement.
