Fashion firm relocates to Garment District

After a two-year pandemic-triggered delay, Evan Lieberman, Director/Leasing, Resolution Real Estate Partners has completed the relocation of fashion firm Raw Brands to its new 12,986 s/f, office and showroom at 205 West 39th Street (pictured top).

The lease, signed this month, is for a term of five-and-a-half years. Asking rent for the space, which encompasses the entire 15th floor, was $48 psf.

“What transpired here is emblematic of so many recent transactions in the city,” said Lieberman. “I began working with Raw Brands in 2019 and just before they made a decision on which space was going to be their new office/showroom, the city shut down. But with a little but of luck and a great deal of patience, this company is now able to have a perfect New York location for its continued growth.”

Raw Brands, also known as R-Brand, is a manufacturer and wholesaler of affordable fashion. The firm, which also provides design, delivery, and merchandising services, specializes in active and casual apparel. In recent years, Raw Brands has committed to sustainability with such “eco-conscious” labels as Ecoute, Fre, Monologue, and Repeat Supply.

Representing the landlord, Daniel Mintz, was Resolution Real Estate Partners’ Mitch Cooperstock, Executive Director/Leasing. Raw Brands will be moving from 1357 Broadway before the end of August 2021.
