Electronics leader inks Flatiron deal

Argo Real Estate announced that Adorama, Inc. signed a new ten-year, 5,000 s/f lease for ground-level space at the Argo-owned and managed 50 West 17th Street.

Jason Pennington and Zach Nathan of Ripco Real Estate represented Argo Real Estate, while David Tricarico and Lindsay Anapol of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. Asking rent was $118 s/f. Adorama plans to use the street level space for photo and video equipment rental.

“This space provides Adorama with an expansive open floor plan, which allows for future growth,” said Mark Moskowitz, CEO of Argo Real Estate.

Serving customers for more than 30 years, Adorama has grown from its flagship NYC store to include the leading online destination for photography, imaging and consumer electronics. Product offerings encompass home entertainment, mobile computing, and professional video and audio, while its services include an in-house photo lab,  pro equipment rental and a Learning Center, which offers free education for photographers.
