Downtown high-rise, Ross Tower, lands Grant Thornton LLP as new tenant

HPI Real Estate Services & Investments today announced that Grant Thornton LLP ― one of America’s largest audit, tax and advisory firms ― will move its Dallas office to Ross Tower, located at 500 N. Akard Street. 

Beginning in 2023, the firm will lease a full floor, approximately 24,600 square feet, in the 45-story luxury office high-rise in the Dallas Arts District. 

“Grant Thornton’s Dallas presence makes it one of the largest professional-services firms in North Texas,” said Ben Cuzen, a vice president at HPI Real Estate Services & Investments. “Adding such an acclaimed tenant to the 1.1M square-foot building will contribute greatly to the vibrant mix of current tenants. We know Grant Thornton and its talented professionals will embrace Ross Tower’s sweeping views and enjoy its many amenities.” 

Ross Tower offers a gourmet food hall in the building, a five-star restaurant and an on-site Starbucks ― as well as in-building conference facilities, state-of-the-art technology, ample parking, and a Wi-Fi tenant lounge. The tower boasts 360-degree views of Uptown, Downtown, the Arts District, Klyde Warren Park, Victory Plaza, and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. 

According to Doreen Griffith, the managing partner of Grant Thornton’s Dallas office: “We chose Ross Tower because of its prime location, amenities and accessibility, as well as its excellent parking. Travis Boothe, managing director, and Robbie Baty, executive managing director of Cushman & Wakefield, represented Grant Thornton in lease negotiations. The landlord was represented by HPI’s Dallas Partner Hunter Lee, Vice President Ben Cuzen, and Leasing Agent Luke Aviles.
