DONE DEALS: The realistic buyer

A New Yorker looking for an “authentic” slice of city life found what he was looking for at 193 Eldridge Street on the Lower East Side.

Nick Gavin, Josh Doyle and Michael Sarg of The Gavin | Doyle Team at Compass said the buyer “loved this part of the Lower East Side. It was more authentic compared to the new cookie cutter development.”

“We sold at the full price, all cash,” added Gavin. “It sold quickly because it was a very special pre-war condo with low monthlies. It had beautiful interior design which helped with the sale.”

The team listed the one bedroom, 1-bath unit at $2.25 million and closed with sale within 10 days.
The “distinctive” open kitchen has a butcher block island and reclaimed wood shelving combined with top-of-the-line appliances.

The master bedroom has a windowed walk-in closet, which doubles as a home office, and master bath with heated floors and clawfoot tub.

Noah Studenroth of Corcoran repped the buyer.
