Citi Habitats agents Carolina Gontijo and Vittorio Faricelli recently sold two multifamily homes in Williamsburg, Brooklyn as a package deal for $4 million.
The adjacent houses at 42 Devoe Street and 117 Ainslie Street were purchased by Black Diamond Development, who plan to re-develop the Devoe site into eight new condos, while 117 Ainslie will be renovated and rented.
Black Diamond was drawn to the properties because of their prime location, in an area with strong demand for luxury condominium product.
Explained Gontijo, “Devoe and Ainslie Streets are tree-lined with a good mix of single and multi-family homes. It’s the perfect place for a boutique condo building. I’m excited to help the buyers sell the eight new units once construction begins.”
The sellers were a family who owned the properties for over 60 years – and are moving on to the next chapter of their lives in grand style with the proceeds from the sale.
