DONE DEALS: Riverfront sale is Rockland solid

Laura Weintraub of Weld Realty just set a new Rockland County price record with sale of a riverfront estate in Nyack.
641 North Broadway (pictured top) closed for $5.2 million, surpassing the $5.1 million sale of Rosie O’Donnell’s estate last year..
“Rockland County continues to offer an exceptional opportunity for buyers looking for space, amenities, natural beauty, and proximity to New York City,” said Weintraub, the property’s listing agent.

One of the largest privately-owned properties on the west side of the Hudson, the estate sits on 6.42 acres in what was a sandstone quarry in the 1800s.
The 4,488 s/f five-bedroom, 3.5-bath modern home has 723 ft. of Hudson River shoreline, a private boat dock, a sandy beach, and in-ground pool.
The luxurious home has 30-foot ceilings with walls of glass overlooking the Hudson River and Hook Mountain, antique barn beams, blue stone floors, and finishes of cedar and stone.
