
The Durst Organization today announced that BKD, LLP signed a 13-year and seven-month lease for 20,899 s/f on the entire 12th floor at 1155 Avenue of the Americas. BKD is relocating from Durst’s 655 Third Avenue where they currently occupy a full floor. Loeb & Troper LLP joined BKD in July of 2018 and began their tenancy at 655 in 1994 taking 23,094 s/f.
BKD has 40 offices in 18 states, with services that include accounting, risk management, technology, wealth management and forensic and valuation services.

BKD was represented by Senior Managing Director Daniel Katcher and Associate Brett Stein of Newmark Knight Frank. The Durst Organization was represented in-house by Senior Managing Director Rocco Romeo and Senior Leasing Associate Tanya Grimaldo.
1155 Avenue of the Americas was completed in 1984 and designed by Emery Roth & Sons. The building has undergone a $130 million capital improvement program. 1155’s upgrades include a new lobby, destination dispatch elevators, new windows and floor-to-ceiling glass at the building’s chamfered corners.
