The CORE sales and marketing firm has acquired R.P. Miller & Associates, the firm announced.
Reba Miller, who founded the firm in 1998, will join the Selling New York firm as senior managing director of sales, overseeing the brokerage’s agents and re-sale business.
Joining Miller at CORE will be sales associate Susan Rubell and associate droker, Lee Frankel.
Miller has enjoyed a record-breaking real estate career over the past 27 years, selling over over $1 billion in real estate and builing a niche on the Upper East Side, Upper West Side and along the Gold Coast corridors of Park, Madison and Fifth Avenues.
She started her own real estate brokerage in 1998. During the firm’s 13 years, it brought in $400 million in sales. In her early real estate career, Reba was director of sales for a distinguished 70-year-old firm where she successfully converted over 20 prime buildings in Manhattan.
Miller’s record-breaking sales are a 15 CPW deal for $4,000 psf and a sale at The Plaza for $5,000 psft. She has done 90% of the sales and leasing in converted condominium buildings such as 26 East 63rd, 40 East 62nd, 44 East 67th and 21 East 66th and has sold and represented properties in other top residential condominium buildings including Morgan Court, Olympic Tower, Trump Tower, The Chatham and The Europa.
Her experience in new development and re-development includes 985 Park Avenue where, in partnership with Barbara Fox, nine units sold at an average price of $6 million and the successful repositioning and rebranding 333 West 14th.
Miller also sold Loropiana’s former headquarters to diamond dealer Lawrence Graff, for Graff’s Corporate Headquarters.
Miller is co-chairman of The Board of Directors of the Real Estate Board of New York and the Ethics Committee, where she’s served for the past three years. During her tenure, she helped create a task force that implemented important changes to industry guidelines, specifically outlining new rules for co-exclusive agency agreements.
Today, she continues to provide advice to her broker peers and volunteers her time teaching and participating in seminars, and has instructed a NYRS for REBNY segment for two semesters. In addition to her dedication to REBNY, Reba has worked on the Technology Committee for ResidentialNYC.com.
Susan Rubell has over 25 years of experience in real estate and has achieved over $60 million in sales throughout her career.
Having worked for both large and small real estate brokerages, as well as venturing her own real estate firm, Rubell also owned a jewelry company where she designed and manufactured pieces of jewelry and consulted with larger jewelers throughout the Northeast.
Lee Frankel has over a decade of experience in the New York City real estate market. Although he is well-versed in several neighborhoods of Manhattan, his greatest expertise is with condos in the Upper East Side and Midtown neighborhoods.
A lifelong New Yorker, he is well known for his limitless access to information and valuable contacts in various sectors due to his strong involvement in the real estate community and trade-related associations.
He is executive co-chair of the residential sales committee at the Real Estate Board of New York and is also the president of Business Networking International, Chapter 50 in New York City.
Prior to his involvement in real estate, Lee succeeded in the graphic arts industry as the owner of an advertising agency and full-service commercial printing facility.
He is also an accomplished glass artist who dedicated eight years to studying various glass-making techniques in Corning, New York, and in Venice and Murano, Italy.
Frankel holds two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from Baruch College in Marketing & Advertising and in Motivational Research.
