Forma Pilates, a Los Angeles-based boutique pilates brand and celebrity hotspot founded by Liana Levi, will open its first Manhattan outpost at 473 West Broadway, its brokers from disruptive retail brokerage MONA announced today.
MONA brokers Brandon L. Singer, Michael Cody, and Max Kreinces represented Forma Pilates in the deal, which includes 2,500 square feet of second-floor space at 473 West Broadway in Soho. Ross Eisenberg and Jeremy Birns of RDE Advisors, Inc. represented landlord 473 West Broadway LLC in the transaction.
Asking rents were $100 per square foot. The lease price and term are confidential.
The deal is the most recent in a string of wins for MONA, including deals that will bring beloved fitness brands back to Manhattan in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis. In November, a MONA team announced it had secured a deal for beloved New York City yoga brand ISHTA Yoga, which had taken all classes online at the height of the pandemic, to return to Union Square. Other recent marquee MONA deals include luxury furniture and rug dealer Ben Soleimani’s first New York City flagship, furniture retailer Sixpenny’s first office lease in DUMBO, and Cosme co-owner Santiago Gomez’s Padel Haus concept in Williamsburg.
