Brokerage inks new HQ deal, plans to hire 30 brokers

Tri State Commercial Realty, a New York brokerage firm founded in 2014 and run by Shlomi Bagdadi, is looking to hire 30 new brokers at its showcase new headquarters.

The company – which specializes in Brooklyn office, retail and industrial leasing – just signed a 10-year lease for 6,300 s/f at Industry City

“As a company with its origins in the NYC region, and Brooklyn specifically, establishing our new headquarters in what’s become the heart of Brooklyn innovation was a natural step,” said Bagdadi.

“As we look to continue our current growth trajectory and scale our footprint nationally, it is important that we have the right space to both host our clients and attract the best brokers in the region, providing commercial real estate services to our strong existing client base and beyond.

“Industry City is the perfect base for the company as it looks to recruit top talent. The campus provides an ideal setting for the best minds in the industry to work and play.”

Industry City, owned by Belvedere Capital, Jamestown, and Angelo Gordon & Co., announced the addition of Tri State Commercial Realty to its six-million-square-foot creative campus in Sunset Park. It was represented inhouse by Jeff Fein while Tri State’s Avi Akiva handled the negotiations for his firm.

The new corporate office will be located in Building 19, which has 14 ft. ceilings, operable windows and oversized elevators.

“TSC’s goal from the beginning was three-fold: to provide a first-rate client facing environment; to attract the best talent; and to have subway access and on-site parking for brokers who are constantly on the road. Industry City delivers on all three, offering best-in-class space with unparalleled amenities at rents that are well below market,” said Kathe Kramer Chase, Director of Leasing at Industry City.

“We’re thrilled that TSC chose Industry City as its home and look forward to being a part of TSC’s next chapter as the firm scales beyond the boroughs.”
