Bradford Allen, a full-service, national commercial real estate services firm, announced it has been selected by Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation as Exclusive Office Leasing Agent for its 750 Lexington Avenue, an iconic, 31-story trophy office property located in Manhattan’s Plaza District at 59 th Street. Glenn Isaacson, president of Bradford Allen’s New York office, along with associate Tony Builder, will direct the leasing campaign for the property, also known as 1 International Plaza.
Bradford Allen, founded by Jeffrey A. Bernstein and Laurence B. Elbaum in 2003 in Chicago,
opened its New York office last year with Isaacson at its helm. The prestigious agency assignment for 750 Lexington Avenue represents a milestone for the firm in the New York market, and an opportunity for Mr. Isaacson – who achieved great success as agent for other Plaza District properties such as 590 Madison, 717 Fifth Avenue and Metropolitan Tower – to bring his Plaza District expertise to market the select availabilities in this asset.
“Bradford Allen’s entrepreneurial approach to growing a best-in-class brokerage, filling the void between the large commercial real estate providers and small boutique firms, is really taking hold in New York,” Mr. Isaacson said. “The opportunity to represent this marquis asset on behalf of one of New York’s finest owners is an important benchmark, and I am proud to personally direct the campaign and reintroduce this extraordinary property to the market.”
“We have tremendous confidence in Glenn Isaacson to represent 750 Lexington Avenue and identify companies that will thrive in the singular, powerful business environment we’ve created within this tower,” said Charles S. Cohen, president and CEO of Cohen Brothers Realty Corp., developer and owner of 750 Lexington Avenue. “Glenn’s command of the market, his keen understanding of the needs of modern tenants, and his broad network, supported by the national Bradford Allen team, will lead to a new era of success for International Plaza.”
Designed by world renowned architect Helmut Jahn, 750 Lexington Avenue is a Class A trophy office building located at the northeast corner of 59 th Street. Constructed of metal and glass and completed in 1986, the distinctive tower offers floor-to-ceiling windows and iconic architectural details that make it a stand-out in the market. With full floors of 18,246 square feet tapering to 7,450 square feet, the full-service tower is ideally suited to users who desire full-floor presence that offers security, wellness, efficiency and prestige. Situated atop one of Manhattan’s most robust public transportation hubs, 750 Lexington Avenue is among the most accessible within the highly desirable Plaza District.
“750 Lexington Avenue has attracted an exclusive tenant roster comprised of financial service companies, entertainment groups, and law firms in addition to serving as the long-term headquarters for Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation,” Bradford Allen’s Mr. Builder said. “We believe the quality and prestige of the building, the exceptional natural light and extraordinary views it offers combine to create a compelling option for discerning users, made even more attractive by the value proposition the space represents.”
Select opportunities at 750 Lexington Avenue include the entire 10th and 11th floors (31,746 square feet), the entire 21st and partial 22nd floors (21,797 square feet) as well as smaller units that can accommodate various size requirements.
“Tony Builder and I are excited to engage with the market for this unique offering, and also
showcase what we are building at Bradford Allen in New York,” Mr. Isaacson said.
