Birchwood Commons Contracts Mid Hudson Construction Management to Construct Lagrange Multifamily Development

Birchwood Commons, Lagrange’s newest multifamily development, with contractors  Mid Hudson Construction Management, announced the beginning of leasing efforts. Named as a nod to the property’s surrounding grove of birch trees, Birchwood Commons’ four buildings – the Jackson, Hudson, Taconic, and Admiral — each host five two-story walkup apartments, each containing two-bedroom and two-and-a-half-bath units. At over 1,250 square feet per unit, each of Birchwood Commons’ 20 residencies will feature high-end finishes and open floor plans.

“With this project, the developers sought to combine the charm of a small town with easy access to urban amenities, providing commuting options to neighboring towns and cities as well as access to the beauty of Dutchess County and beyond,” said Scott Travis, CEO of MHCM. “There’s a need for all kinds of housing in Dutchess County right now, and filling this need helps to enhance the economic well-being of the communities we build in by bringing in new patrons to local businesses. We’re proud to be a small part of that positive cycle.”

Pre-leasing has begun with residences starting at $2,750. The first floor of each unit features an open floor plan and is finished with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, as well as a built-in microwave, integrated trash pullout, and tall pantries. The second-floor bedrooms each contain walk-in closets, and ensuite bathrooms featuring built-in bookshelves, and other essential amenities like washers and dryers. Each of the 20 apartments also features a private covered outdoor patio and storage.

Located near access points to Route 82, Route 55, and the Taconic State Parkway, Birchwood Commons is centrally located, approximately ten miles from Poughkeepsie and 20 miles from Beacon. For more information about Birchwood Commons and pre-leasing options, email: BirchwoodCommonsNY@gmail.com.
