Avison Young arranges new 7,615-sf lease on behalf of PS 260 at 30 Broad Street

Avison Young’s New York office announced today that it has arranged a new 7,615-square-foot lease on behalf of media production company PS 260 at 30 Broad Street. PS 260 will relocate and expand from its previous New York office at 260 Fifth Avenue in Midtown South to the 27th floor of the Downtown Manhattan building with an anticipated January 2022 move in.

Avison Young Principal Peter Gross, who is based in the firm’s New York office, represented the tenant in the negotiations while the landlord, 30 Broad Street Venture, LLC, was represented by Dan Appel and Andrew Peretz of Newmark.

“PS 260’s relocation to 30 Broad Street is the latest example of the continued flight to quality trend in the Manhattan office market, as demonstrated by the significant step up in building class from its previous location,” said Gross. “The firm was drawn to the building’s prime downtown location and private outdoor space offered via the two large terraces that accompanied their new space.”

PS 260 is a media production company specializing in award-winning creative content, development, production, editorial, post-production, visual effects and graphic solutions across all viewable platforms. The creative firm is headquartered in New York with offices in Boston and Los Angeles.

“Avison Young did a terrific job navigating the search for our new headquarters and understanding the types of spaces that matched our criteria for continued growth,” said Zarina Mak, Managing Partner at PS 260. “30 Broad Street provided the ideal long-term home for our firm that will allow us to continue to increase in size, foster creativity and encourage collaboration among our team and clients.”
