ATCO Properties & Management Renews Lease with Dos Caminos at 373 Park Avenue South

 ATCO Properties & Management announced today that Mexican restaurant Dos Caminos has renewed its 13,900-square-foot lease at the base of 373 Park Avenue South, a boutique class A office property in Midtown South.

Dos Caminos brings the vibrant spirit of Mexico City to New York City by serving authentic and upscale Mexican cuisine, including fresh guacamole, margaritas and other South-of-the-Border favorites. The restaurant’s five-year lease renewal at 373 Park Avenue South spans 6,500 square feet of ground floor space as well as 7,400 square feet on the basement and mezzanine levels.

“Dos Caminos has been a staple of the dining scene on Park Avenue South for many years, and we’re so pleased that it will continue to be a neighborhood amenity for the foreseeable future,” said Kate Hemmerdinger Goodman, co-president, ATCO Properties & Management.

With the Dos Caminos renewal, ATCO further extends its leasing momentum at 373 Park Avenue. In April, ATCO secured a 10-year, 17,464-square-foot lease with Mount Sinai to open a cardiology office in the building. In June, it completed an 8,732-square-foot office lease with Aegis Venture Partners LLC.

Also on Park Avenue at sister building 381 Park Avenue South, ATCO signed a lease renewal with global compensation management company Beqom North America Inc. Beqom will relocate on the seventh floor from a 2,100-square-foot suite to a larger 3,885-square-foot office. Additionally, Secretariat Advisors LLC, the organization behind 1973 Triple Crown champion Secretariat, renewed its 3,974-square-foot eighth floor suite at the building.  

Hemmerdinger Goodman added, “With its classical architecture, prime Midtown South location and our commitment to providing the finest quality of service, 373 and 381 Park Avenue South continue to attract a strong roster of new and returning tenants.”

No tenant brokers were involved in any of the transactions. Kate Hemmerdinger Goodman represented building ownership in-house.

The sister buildings built in the early 1900’s offer sunny exposures and flexible floorplates. 381 Park Avenue South boasts 17 floors totaling 228,000 square feet and 373 Park Avenue South rises 12 floors and totals 110,000 square feet. Both are located just steps from Madison Square Park and several subway lines, including the N, Q, R and 6 trains.

Other tenants at the buildings include FGS Design LLC, Two Sticks Inc., Valerio Architects, Inc., EVOS, Simplebet, Launchsquad, Neuehouse, Advanced Focus, Lifetime Brands, Inc., ListenFirst Media, Stephen B. Jacobs Group, Maria B. Campbell, Inc., Industrial Development Funding, Goldstein, Rikon, Rikon & Houghton, P.C., Fuze Inc., RW3 CultureWizard and Superfly Productions. Famed bakery and restaurant Sarabeth’s Kitchen is located at the base of 381 Park Avenue South.
