Rockers in Relief Concert
June 6: New York real estate executives will rock out for charity at the 8th annual Real Estate Rockers in Relief concert at Irving Plaza. The concert will raise awareness and funds for NECHAMA, an organization that assists communities across the country in long-term domestic disaster recovery, including continued local relief efforts in the tri-state area following Hurricane Sandy. Founded in 2012 by Carl Schwartz, of Hunton Andrews Kurth, and David Lowenfeld of DHL Holdings, the event has raised $650,000 for NECHAMA since its launch. The show brings together talent from real estate companies such as Madison Capital, Taconic Investment Partners, ABS Partners Real Estate, L&L Holding Company, HFF, ABC Properties, Kushner Companies, Cadence Property Group and Chicago Title Insurance Company, to name a few. This year, Emily Warren and Scott Harris, two of the driving forces behind some of today’s pop music hits, including Dua Lipa’s and New Rules and Shawn Mendes’ Treat You Better will make guest appearances. June 6-8: The American Institute of Architects (AIA) annual conference will be held in Las Vegas.
