The latest craze in adult entertainment is coming to NoMad – Swingers Crazy Golf.

The London-based venture that blends large-scale indoor golf courses, street food and cocktails, will occupy the 22,000 s/f basement of the new Virgin Hotel at 1227 Broadway.
“We are thrilled to be a part of Swingers’ American expansion. It blends seamlessly with the ongoing transformation that’s taking place in NoMad, Manhattan’s trendiest neighborhood,” said Adam Weinblatt, the NKF broker who, along with Mitchell Friedel, represented landlord, The Lam Group, in the deal.
JLL’s Amy Zhen represented Swingers in the lease for the location in the hotel, which is slated for completion in 2019.

Founded by former politics students Matt Grech-Smith and Jeremy Simmonds, Swingers has taken the UK by storm and opened its first two locations in London’s Financial District and Oxford Circus. The Swingers concept, combines mini golf with a rotating assortment of street food, served by well-known local restaurateurs, and cocktails, which can be delivered to players by caddies on the course, all packaged within a theatrical, immersive environment.
Indeed golf could soon be the new ten pin bowling as outfits such as Urban Putt, Junkyard Golf Club and Holey Moley jockey their way for space in the novelty bar scene.
Designed by VOA Associates, the new Virgin Hotel will have 38 floors and 460 rooms as well as 60,000 s/f of retail space when it opens next year.
