Retail queen Faith Hope Consolo has brought luxury Italian leather atelier Jennifer Tattanelli to New York City as the accessories designer plans a US expansion.
Consolo, chairman of retail sales and leasing at Douglas Elliman, arranged a short-term lease for Jennifer Tattanelli at 1122 Madison Avenue, between 83rd and 84th streets. The boutique is a two-level retail store totaling 4,500 s/f.
“Jennifer Tattanelli has traveled the world, making the Italian mystique and craftsmanship accessible while maintaining quality, style and elegance,” said Consolo. “Their arrival on the Avenue is a natural fit, joining the other designers and world-renowned retailers on this prime shopping stretch. The Florentine brand is expanding its global footprint, poised to put down roots in New York City as a launchpad for expansion.”

A Florence-based brand, Jennifer Tattanelli is a destination for Italian leather goods and custom designs. Known for its products with detailed stitching, the third-generation brand represents a renowned level of excellence in Italian fashion. Boasting ateliers in Florence, Port Washington and the Hamptons, with an outpost in London, the brand offers the prestige of “Made In Italy.”
The Upper East Side thoroughfare, is prized as a shopping destination, known for its panache and eclectic designers, including high-end technical apparel brand Aether Outpost, French fashion designer Agnes B., Italian children’s boutique Monnalisa, British-based fashion label Joseph, luxury bedding from France at Yves Delorme, soft cotton basics at James Perse and Italian menswear Davide Cenci.
