NYC Real Estate Expo

Oct. 24: The day-long NYCRE Expo will draw over 5,000 to the New York Hilton Midtown Hotel. USHMM Dinner

Oct. 28: The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum will present its National Leadership Award to Gary Jacob, New York real estate industry leader, at the 2019 “What You Do Matters” New York Tribute Dinner at Cipriani 42nd Street. The Dinner is chaired by Debrah Lee Charatan, Jeffrey Feil, Lloyd Goldman, Mindy Nagorsky-Israel and Ronen Israel, and Caryn and Howard Unger. In addition, Stacey Saiontz will also be honored with the National Leadership Award for her dedicated leadership in the Museum’s Northeast community. Oct. 30: The Institute of International Education will host its 100th Gala at The Pierre New York. Martin Lipton will receive the IIE Stephen P. Duggan Award for Mutual Understanding. Lipton is a founding partner of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, former chairman of the New York University board of trustees and member of the board of NYU, NYU Law and NYU Langone Health. Fainberg Associates will be inducted into The NAIOP New Jersey Hall of Fame. The Legacy Award will be presented to Peter Reinhart, director of the Kislak Real Estate Institute at Monmouth University. Susan Karp of Karp Environmental Law will receive the Pillar Award. Steve Santola of Woodmont Properties LLC will be presented with the Advocacy Award and Gensler’s Dana Nalbantian will be recognized as Volunteer of the Year. Carlos Torres of Turner Construction Company will receive the Rising Star Award, and the Student Member of the Year will be presented to Robert Thomson, who is attending Roger Williams University.
