WHO’S NEWS: Residential appointments & promotions

Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty has announced that Susan Handelman has joined the firm and will work out of the Rye brokerage. Handelman joins the firm from Houlihan Lawrence and brings 20 years of experience and a history of notable distinctions and accolades to the company.
In her career, Handelman has achieved over $200 million in closed transactions and holds accolades such as “Platinum Level Producer” (2011-2018). Her clients point to her professional awards as testament to her ability and work ethic.
Prior to her work in real estate, upon graduating from Rutgers University with a degree in Business and Accounting, Handelman garnered a love of style as a buyer for Bloomingdales.

Ellis Sotheby’s International Realty announced that Sharon Reidy D’Orazio has joined the luxury brokerage firm as an associate broker.
She previously managed a real estate office in Rockland County, New York, recruiting coaching and training agents. A top producer, Reidy D’Orazio has served in various facets of the real estate business for 20 years and was recognized with a President’s Award for sales. She is a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and a certified home stager. 
In addition to real estate, her diverse background includes advertising, consumer research, marketing, sales and senior living.
 Reidy D’Orazio is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors and its multiple listing service. She received her bachelor of arts from Lycoming College, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
 Reidy D’Orazio, who has resided in Rockland County for nearly 30 years, is a also long-time supporter of the Rockland Business Women’s Network and Professionals in Aging.

Triplemint announced the addition of 28 team members. Hires include established New York City brokers Drew Cooper, Michele Roderick, Lauren Schaffer, Heather Cella, and Rae McKee. 
Drew Cooper joins Triplemint as a record-setting broker. He was the first broker to break the $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 thresholds for sales within Lincoln Towers. He has closed more than 50 other seven- figure deals and has amassed over $375,000,000 in total sales in the complex to date. 
Michele Roderick joins Triplemint with over 10 years of experience in the real estate industry. She has represented the landlords of over 30 buildings in Manhattan and was awarded the #1 Rental Agent in 2014 for having closed the most rental transactions company-wide in addition to selling condos and coops. 
Schaffer, Cella and McKee join Triplemint to form the Schaffer Cella team.
Lauren Schaffer specializes in luxury condo and co-op sales across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.
Originally from Chicago, Schaffer can now call New  York City her long-term home. 
Heather Cella joins Triplemint with extensive experience in new construction sales and rentals and has represented buyers and sellers in various condo and co-op re-sales throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. Cella is also a native New Yorker, who currently resides in Murray Hill with her husband, whom she met through real estate. 
Rae McKee joins Triplemint after working at a boutique luxury residential real estate firm, quickly becoming one of the company’s top producers. McKee has experience in many areas, whether it be first time home buying, renovation, or investing. McKee attended Cedarville University, majoring marketing and public relations, and moved to New York to work in real estate immediately following graduation.
