Glasses company FantasEyes takes nearly 12,000 s/f on Fifth Avenue

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has arranged an 11,850 s/f eleven-year office lease for FantasEyes at 420 Fifth Avenue. Founded in 1989, FantasEyes is an eyewear and fashion accessories company proudly delivering high quality products at an affordable price.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Adam Nelson represented the tenant, FantasEyes, in the transaction. The landlord was represented by William Korchak, Ed DiTolla and Henry Warner of JLL.

“FantasEyes was originally on two non-contiguous floors across the street,” said Adam Nelson of Cushman & Wakefield. “At 420 Fifth Avenue, they are able to stay in the immediate area and consolidate to a single, nearly column-free floor plate with amazing light and views. ”

420 Fifth Avenue is a modern condominium office tower with high-quality granite and glass curtains walls, a three-story clear atrium lobby and a large plaza entry. The building was transformed from a multi-level urban retail space to a multi-tenant retail space and is currently fully occupied. Other office tenants in the building include: Luxotica, The Rockefeller Foundation and Major League Soccer.

Located between 37th and 38th Streets, 420 Fifth Avenue sits directly next to the Lord & Taylor flagship between Bryant Park and the Empire State Building. The property is within walking distance to multiple subway stations including Fifth Avenue, Herald Square, Bryant Park, Times Square and the 33rd Street PATH station.
