NEW DEVELOPMENT: Hartz finishes Gold Coast rental

Construction complete at Weehawken waterfront development

Construction is complete and more than 60 percent of the 236 residences at Harbor 1500 have been leased four months since launching.

The Maxal Group and Hartz Mountain Industries have partnered to develop the waterfront community, which features 42,000 s/f of amenities, including two rooftop decks that overlook Manhattan and the Hudson River and the property extends 764 feet from the Weehawken shoreline out into the Hudson River.

Harbor 1500 comprises a collection of studios and one and two-bedroom residences.

Floor-to-ceiling windows offer Manhattan views and the homes are outfitted with custom-stained French white oak hardwood floors, stainless steel GE Profile kitchen appliances and Kohler fixtures. Additionally, GE stackable washer/vented dryers are in every unit, and many residences have walk-in closets. Several homes on the second floor have 16 ft. wide terraces.

On the fifth floor, residents can take in a movie on a lawn and the sixth-floor rooftop features a pool and hot tub.

Astoria Lights rolls out renovated homes

RockFarmer Properties has announced that Astoria Lights has launched sales for its second collection of renovated homes.

Originally constructed in 1929, the pre-war development was converted into co-op apartments and in 2014 the first phase of the project was completed with 57 newly released homes. Now, with the second phase of the project underway, an additional 38 renovated residences will be offered for sale, offering amenities and loft-style floorplans.

Comprised of four distinct, contiguous buildings, Astoria Lights is located at 24-39, 24-51, 24-65 and 24-75 38th Street.

The co-op apartments range from one- to four-bedrooms with exposed brick walls, restored hardwood floors, crown moldings and custom baseboards.

Homes have 8 ft. doors with Emtek Hardware and LED lighting, newly designed German kitchens outfitted with Caesarstone countertops and Bosch appliances. All residences include in-unit washer and dryer hook-ups.

The building features a co-working lounge with a private conference room, a residents’ lounge and a Kid’s Zone, pet grooming station, package room, a fitness center, bike room and laundry facility.

There are two communal rooftops, including a 1,200 s/f Sky Deck, a landscaped Zen garden and landscaped courtyard with a bocce ball court and hammocks grove . Pricing starts at $475,000.

Works starts on luxury Rutherford rental

Diversified Properties has broken ground on 480 Flatz, a 35-unit luxury apartment building in East Rutherford, NJ.

Located at 480 Paterson Avenue , the four-story property will encompass a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, including five units designated as affordable housing. Initial occupancy is scheduled for spring, 2020.

480 Flatz is being designed by Thomas J. Brennan Architects. It will feature home plans ranging in size from 700 to 1100 square feet, with interior finishes that include kitchens with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, and nine-foot ceilings.
