Milvado closes quarter with 93,000 s/f in lease deals

Long Island owner enjoys productive few months

Milvado Property Group ended the second quarter of 2019 by signing 13 new, renewal and extension leases totaling 93,431 s/f at properties within its Long Island industrial portfolio.

Combined with the 105,513 s/f of leases signed since the beginning of 2019, Milvado’s total square footage for the year comes to 198,944 s/f

“The Long Island Commercial Real estate market is maintaining its strength through the second quarter of 2019 and we anticipate seeing continued growth through the remainder of 2019,” said David Hercman, director of Asset Management, Milvado Property Group.

The majority of the 93,431 square feet was leased in Ronkonkoma; 15,375 s/f was negotiated in Syosset; 6,600 s/f in Port Washington and 5,600 s/f in Hauppauge. Among the deals wre the following:

• 275 Marcus Boulevard. MTM Print Solutions LLC extended its lease on 2,800 s/f at 275 Marcus Boulevard in Hauppauge; the landlord negotiated the extension in-house.

• 275 Marcus Boulevard. Control Solutions Group Inc. renewed 2,800 s/f at 275 Marcus Boulevard in Hauppauge; the landlord negotiated the renewal in-house

• 33 Comac Loop. The Andrews Vanderbeck Agency Inc. signed a new lease for 1,200 s/f at 33 Comac Loop in Ronkonkoma; the landlord acted on its own behalf in-house.

• 101-125 Comac Street. Soter Technologies LLC signed a new lease for 4,800 s/f at 101-125 Comac Street in Ronkonkoma; Jason Maietta of Colliers International represented the tenant, while the landlord acted on its own behalf in-house.

• 101-125 Comac Street. Carolina Plastics LLC signed a renewal lease for 4,800 s/f at 101-125 Comac Street in Ronkonkoma; Jason Maietta of Colliers International represented the tenant, while the landlord acted on its own behalf in-house.

• 200 13th Avenue. Hampton Home Care signed a new lease for 2,300 s/f in Ronkonkoma; Doug Omstrom of Jones Long Lasalle represented the tenant, while the landlord acted on its own behalf in-house.

• 80-13th Avenue. The Exide Corporation renewed a lease for 16,422 square feet at 80-13th Avenue in Ronkonkoma; Paul Leone of CBRE represented the tenant, while the landlord acted on its own behalf in-house.

• 90-13th Avenue. The Vibelo Group Inc. signed a new lease for 22,000 s/f at 90-13th Avenue in Ronkonkoma; Richie Cohen of Ashlind Properties represented the tenant, while the landlord acted on its own behalf in-house.

• 6851 Jericho Turnpike. Eschen Prosthetic & Orthotic Labs signed a new 2,375-square-foot lease at 6851 Jericho Turnpike in Syosset; Harris Russo of Real Estate Strategies represented the tenant, while the landlord acted on its own behalf in-house.

• 575 Underhill Blvd. Darren Grunberg signed a renewal lease for 550-square-foot lease at 575 Underhill Blvd. in Syosset; the landlord acted on its own behalf in-house.

• 575 Underhill Blvd. Deal to Win Inc. Signed a renewal lease for 12, 450-square-feet at 575 Underhill Blvd. in Syosset; the landlord acted on its own behalf in-house.
