H.J. Kalikow & Co. signs insurance company for 48,000 s/f at 101 Park Ave

H.J. Kalikow & Co. inked a long term lease at 101 Park Avenue where an insurance company will occupy two floors.

The deal will see Alliant Insurance Inc. agree to an 11-year lease to occupy 48,500 s/f on floors 12 and 14 at what H.J. Kalikow calls its “trophy building.”

“101 Park Avenue provides a prestigious business address in an unparalleled location,” said Peter S. Kalikow, President of H.J. Kalikow & Co., LLC.  “Alliant Insurance Services will benefit from the building’s proximity to public transportation at Grand Central Terminal as well as the services at the trophy property.”

On the landlord side, H.J. Kalikow was represented by John Cefaly and Nicholas Dysenchuk of Cushman & Wakefield and on the tenant side by Joseph Cabrera and David Glassman of Colliers International.

At the 49-story 101 Park Avenue, one of Manhattan’s most well-known skyscrapers, tenants have access to a parking garage, a fountain and seating area, as well as a bank and dining options within proximity to Grand Central Terminal.

Recently, 101 Park Avenue also saw the addition of a different breed of tenants, with the addition of the Museum of the Dog in 2017, run by the American Kennel Club. In total, the museum occupies 60,000 s/f, taking up the entire fifth floor of the building.
