Ralph Lauren is updating its corporate office footprint in New York City with the lease of an additional 350,000 S/F in RXR Realty’s Starrett-Lehigh Building at 601 West 26th Street, where the Company’s North America business operations re-located to last year.
650 Madison Avenue will remain Ralph Lauren’s global corporate headquarters, and the new lease on the far west wide will relocate employees from 625 Madison Avenue, 550 Seventh Avenue, and several other Midtown locations.
The move is part of a broader, global effort by Ralph Lauren to bring teams closer together and in updated spaces with more open floor plans, as well as amenities like on-site fitness facilities and dedicated outdoor space.
The company’s expansion at 601 West 26th Street builds on its recently announced full-building lease in the ON3 development in Nutley, NJ (which will house employees who will relocate from its Lyndhurst, NJ office, and some operations from Manhattan) and in Greensboro, NC where the company has consolidated and updated its corporate and distribution center space. In addition to supporting more connectivity across the business, these moves ensure more efficient use of company resources as Ralph Lauren delivers its Next Great Chapter strategy to drive sustainable, long-term growth and value creation. Ralph Lauren Corporation worked with RXR Realty, a leading real estate operating and investment company in the New York Tri-State area, and commercial real estate advisory firm Savills-Studley to complete the Manhattan deal.
