Roommate startup lands new cash

Roomors, the New York-based housing solution for young professionals, has completed an investment round lead by Thayer Street Partners.

The co-living startup provides the cityʼs young professionals with turnkey apartments and a community network, offering fully furnished apartments which include utilities, wifi and housekeeping in the rent price, which on average is $1,500 per room.

Since its inception in 2017, the company has grown its offering to 100 units and maintained a 97 percent occupancy rate.

“We are excited to help the Company continue to grow as it implements its unique approach to eliminating the long standing problems young professionals face when identifying accessible and affordable housing in New York City,” said Josh Koplewicz, founder of Thayer Street Partners.

“Thayer Street Partners is an ideal collaborator as we continue to grow and scale our value proposition,” said Or Goldschmidt, CEO of Roomors.
