Daniel Gale Sotheby’s expands to larger Smithtown office

Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty has opened a new office in Smithtown, long Island, to accommodate a growing sales force.

The nearly 3,000 s/f office replaces the organization’s St. James office. Currently 35 agents work out of Smithtownʼs two storefronts at 81 Route 111 Smithtown, NY.

Deirdre O’Connell, CEO of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, said, “Opening a new office reflects the growth we’re experiencing in established and new markets.”

Sales manager Anthony DeGrotta is equally enthusiastic about the new space.

He said, “While we were in St. James, our office was number one in sales volume in St. James,

Nissequogue and Head of the Harbor based on sales that closed during 2017. We are looking to continue on that track and exceed those numbers in 2018, and achieve that status in Smithtown, Commack and Kings Park as well.”

Close to 150 people joined DeGrotta and assistant sales manager Marianne Koke at the ribbon cutting, among them DGSIR agents and friends; local business people including Smithtown Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Barbara Franco; and senior management, including Deirdre O’Connell, Deborah Hauser and Carol Tintle.
