DONE DEALS: Roundup of the week in residential sales

MAGGIE REGAN

Sometimes the perfect home is worth the wait, just ask Citi Habitats agent Maggie Regan. She recently closed on an apartment at 875 Saint Marks Avenue for $565,000 (pictured top).
“My client was renting in Propsect-Lefferts Gardens and had been saving her money for years to buy a home in Brooklyn,” Regan explains.
The 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo is located in a 1899 townhouse on a historic, tree-lined block in Crown Heights. It features white oak herringbone floors, exposed brick accent walls and an open kitchen with Caesarstone counters and custom blue and white Shaker-style cabinetry. It also includes a washer/dryer and central A.C.
“She saw hundreds of apartments and a few deals fell through,” says Regan. “But what made her realize it was ‘the one’ was when she noticed it had the exact same model of stove she had been saving in storage for her new place.”
Regan and her buyer were the first to submit an offer and they closed in under two months. The asking price was $599,000 and the common charges total $243 per month. Shameika Wade at Corcoran represented the seller.
